BPM Institute

BPMinstitute.org is a peer-to-peer exchange for business process management professionals and is hosted by BrainStorm Group, a trusted source of unbiased information and education on BPM, Workflow and Integration related issues since 1997.

BPMinstitute.org has been established in response to the demand for education and peer exchange on all aspects surrounding business process computing.

By leveraging the collective genius of our members, industry Thought Leaders and experienced practitioners, we endeavor to expedite the adoption and implementation of business process management solutions and practices.

ABPMP

The Association Of Business Process Management Professionals International is a non-profit, vendor-independent, professional organization dedicated to the advancement of business process management concepts and its practices.  ABPMP is practitioner-oriented and practitioner-led.

OMG

OMG’s mission is to develop, with our worldwide membership, enterprise integration standards that provide real-world value. OMG is also dedicated to promoting business technology and optimization for innovation through its Business Ecology® Initiative (BEI) program and associated Communities of Practice.

PKI

The Process Knowledge Initiative is a collaborative industry and academic endeavor with the sole purpose of creating an open source body of knowledge on process management. The resultant Process Knowledge BoK (PKBoK) will be the go-to information source for process management professionals, academics and industry technology and service providers.

BP Trends

Business Process Trends provides a primary source of news and information relating to all aspects of business process change, focused on trends, directions and best practices. The goals are to:
Educate and Support the Market, including software and hardware vendors, consulting companies, users, standards organizations and other service providers.

Communicate and Exchange Information about what users are doing, what technologies vendors are developing and delivering, what methodologies are working and what trends and standards are emerging.

Coalesce and Cooperate through presentation of varying points of view and opposing perspectives on current trends and directions in a rich content environment.

WFMC

Founded in 1993, the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) is a global organization of adopters, developers, consultants, analysts, as well as university and research groups engaged in workflow and BPM.  The WfMC creates and contributes to process related standards, educates the market on related issues, and is the only standards organization that concentrates purely on process.  The WfMC created Wf-XML and XPDL, the leading process definition used today in over 80 known solutions to store and exchange process models.  XPDL is not an executable programming language but a process design format for storing the visual diagram and process syntax of business process models, as well as extended product attributes.
